Snooker Coach AI – Practice Drills to Improve Your Game
Most snooker players spend hours on the table but never actually get better. They knock balls around, play a few frames with mates, and wonder why their break-building hasn't improved in two years.
The difference between players who improve and players who plateau isn't talent. It's structure.
This page brings together 5 of the most effective snooker practice drills — the same drills used by coaches, club players, and professionals — along with two ready-made training plans so you know exactly what to practise and for how long. Whether you've got 30 minutes before the club closes or a full hour to put in proper work, there's a plan below for you.
Pick a drill, click through for the full breakdown, and start turning practice time into real improvement.
1. The Line-Up Drill
Widely considered the single best all-round practice drill in snooker. Set all 15 reds in a straight line between the pink and black spots, with the black on its spot, then pot a red, the black, a red, the black — clearing the table while building a real break.
Best for: Break building, cue ball control, position play, shot planning.
